Utbildarna är vita blodkroppar med trådformiga utskott. De kallas dendritceller. För Göteborgsföretaget Immunicum är upptäckten nyckeln till ett cancervaccin. Företagets vd Jamal El-Mosleh drömmer om en framtid med vaccin som lär kroppen döda cancerceller.

Micropos Medical tracks down tumours
One of the largest problems when treating a tumor with radiation is to strike at the right place — tumors move in the human body along with the organs in which they grow. Therefore a bigger area than necessary is irradiated, leading to damage of healthy tissue. The Swedish company Micropos Medical has solved this problem by tracking the tumor with a radio transmitter. The result is a more precise and less time consuming radiotherapy of tumors.
