This action-based programme integrates practical experience and theoretical expertise in bioscience entrepreneurship and innovation management with in-depth understanding of product development processes in the bioscience industry.
GIBBS´ international faculty, as well as the school´s close connection with experienced entrepreneurs and the bioscience innovation system in the region, provide a valuable network of support and counseling for its students.
GIBBS is a collaboration between Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg.
GIBBS students can receive either a Masters of Technology or a Master in Medicine, depending on the way of entry. Applications can be made through Chalmers and University of Gothenburg respectively.
After graduating
The opportunities available to GIBBS graduates are varied, and our experience has shown that the skill-set developed at GIBBS is both versatile and attractive to employers.
Many students focus on remaining with their projects as these develop into companies after the education. Some of our alumni are found today at other small-to-medium-sized
enterprises, others at management consultancy firms and established bioscience companies.
