Conclusions about Life Science in Region Västra Götaland will be presented by Mr Ingvar Carlsson, former Swedish Prime Minister, on March 30.
During  fall 2010 and spring 2011, the former Swedish Prime Minister Ingvar Carlsson has surveyed opportunities and challenges for the life science sector in Västra Götaland, all in dialogue with industry, academia and the public sector.

Behind the mission is Region Västra Götaland, University of Gothenburg, Chalmers University of Technology, City of Göteborg, City of Mölndal and West Sweden Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Background: The mission is a result of AstraZeneca's decision to concentrate much of its business to Mölndal. The decision highlighted the need for a coordinated action to improve conditions for the development of both Astra Zeneca and other business sectors.

Coffee will be served and there will be time for discussion after the presentation.

Note! The seminar will be held in Swedish.

When: Wednesday March 30 2011
Time: 14-16.30 (about)
Location: Wallenberg Conference Centre, "Lyktan"

Prior registration is required by e-mail to Anna Magnusson, Region Västra Götaland
