HealthPort Innovation Competition calls for applicants
The HealthPort Innovation Competition calls for applicants to submit new ideas arising from the clinical environment in the Baltic Sea Region. The competition aims to find clinical inventions that can be translated into commercial products and services benefitting patients.
 
The application web page is open 4 May to 15 August 2011.
Objective
The competition boosts the commercial utilization of ideas arising from the clinical environment and healthcare research. Awards will be granted to ideas and inventions in the area of healthcare and medical technology (e.g. medical and therapeutic tools and technologies, diagnostics, laboratory and hospital equipment and technology) and related services. The idea or invention should enable developing and commercializing a product or service that benefits patients and attracts potential investors.

Organizers
The HealthPort Innovation Competition is part of the BSHR HealthPort project, co-financed by the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013.  The launching of the HealthPort Innovation Competition is organized by Culminatum Innovation Oy Ltd (FI).
