New unit for experimental research at Sahlgrenska University Hospital
Expanded research capability at the Centre for Clinical Trials.
Sahlgrenska University Hospital is expanding its research capability with resources for experimental clinical research at the Centre for Clinical Trials (CTC). Resources are offered to researchers from Region Västra Götaland, the University of Gothenburg, Chalmers Technical University and the research industry.

The development of treatment methods and clinical trials including phase I can be conducted in close cooperation with the health care system. Scope for development of the new unit has been enhanced with support from AstraZeneca within the framework of Gothia Forum, the region´s organisation for coordination of clinical research. The inauguration took place on Monday May 10 and Gothia Forum has already moved into its new premises.
