Global link with Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine
Paul Gatenholm & Karoline Brattås
Collaboration within scaffolds and regenerative medicine
Chalmers, Swerea IVF AB and Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, WFIRM in North Carolina, USA has started collaboration programme within scaffolds and regenerative medicine. Paul Gatenholm, professor at Chalmers has been appointed as Adjunct Professor in Biomaterials at WFIRM in 2008 and initiated student exchange programme. Two Swedish students and one post doc have been working with tissue engineering projects since September 2008 at WFIRM. One of the Swedish students Karoline Brattås (master student in biotechnology at Chalmers) received prestigious first price in poster competition at WFIRM Annual retreat on March 23-24.
