Capital injection for Syspiro Diagnostics!
Syspiro Diagnostics has, as a result of, a new share issue received an injection of nearly SEK 1.5 million  "The money will be used to produce a prototype which we will then test in a clinical study," says Johanna Lundstedt, CEO of Syspiro Diagnostics.
Syspiro Diagnostics is developing a new fetal monitoring technique in which deteriorations in the health of the fetus can be assessed more reliably and continuously during delivery, without the need to take blood samples from the infant's scalp. The equipment will provide a clear display of the condition of the fetus, which simplifies diagnosis. This in turn will reduce the risk of infants dying or suffering severe neurological damage during delivery, as well as bringing down the number of unnecessary Caesarean sections.

The new share issue raises SEK 1.5 million for the company. Chalmers Innovation Seed Fund, Innovationsbron and business angels are behind the investments. Added to this is a loan from Region Västra Götaland. The money is to be used to produce a prototype that is clinically testable, and work is now under progress to find a suitable supplier.

"We have great faith in this company. They have a basic technology that offers great benefits and reduces the risks in delivery. There is a large market for Syspiro Diagnostics technology, and they are well placed to succeed in tapping it," says Olle Stenberg, CEO of Chalmers Innovation Seed Fund.
