Verification grants from GöteborgBIO in cooperation with Sahlgrenska Science Park
New verification grants have been made to four of the autumn´s prioritised projects focused on early pharmaceutical and biomedical projects. After activities that have been carried out successfully, the projects are now progressing according to plan.
Ortoma AB is one of the companies allocated funding, and project manager Sara Pellmé was delighted when she was told the news.

"Thanks very much -— that´s great!" said Sara. "Ortoma is a company that right now is in a dynamic phase with many exciting new opportunities to grasp. The fact that Sahlgrenska Science Park is once again entrusting the company with verification funds obviously means a great deal to Ortoma and those of us who work on the company´s development. The new money will be used for the next phase in the clinical verification of Ortoma´s implants — a very important step along the road to a finished product. We are very grateful for the support given and look forward to continued cooperation!" Sara concluded.

As well as Ortoma, verification grants have been award to the following three projects from GöteborgBIO in cooperation with Sahlgrenska Science Park:

·         Börje Haraldsson - Treatment of advanced renal cancer with NC001
·         GraftCraft - First Aid for aneurysmal disease
·         Syspiro Diagnostics — Foetal diagnostics
·        Ortoma — the intervertebral disc prosthesis of the future
