The key to the heart of Göteborg
PM Group Nordic received the 2009 “Key to the Heart of Göteborg" award for its contributions to the development of entrepreneurship and business in the region. The prize is awarded once a year to a foreign company or organisation that has contributed to positive business development in the region.
Petra Sedelius of Business Region Göteborg read out the jury´s decision: “For contributions to sustainability in the region, high employment and a diversified business portfolio. Hard work and immense competence on the part of two people who persuaded the Irish-owned life-science company to establish its Nordic head office in Göteborg. The 2009 award goes to Sture Smith and Margareta Häggström of PM Group Nordic. "
The announcement was made at an official reception at the Gothenburg City Hall, in Göteborg attended by 250 people from 40 different countries. The award was handed over by the Municipal Commissioner of Göteborg, and Sture Smith and Margareta Häggström received the prize from his hands.
