Nobel Prize Laureate Arvid Carlsson moves into Sahlgrenska Science Park
In October, Nobel Prize Laureate in Physiology or Medicine 2000, Professor Emeritus Arvid Carlsson and his research team will be relocating to Sahlgrenska Science Park's new laboratory on Medicinareberget, Göteborg.
The team comprises scientists focused on research and clinical trials in the disciplines of neuropharmacology, neurology and psychiatry.

We are very pleased and proud to be able to offer Arvid Carlsson and his team facilities at our laboratory, which was refurbished just over six months ago and is now fully equipped. At the Park research institutions can establish themselves without having to procure all the equipment needed to verify their research work. We at Sahlgrenska Science Park look forward eagerly to welcoming Arvid Carlsson and his research team," CEO Gunilla Bökmark said.

At Sahlgrenska Science Park scientists and entrepreneurs involved in the field of Life Science work in a dynamic environment and it will be exciting to move into an incubator environment surrounded by young, enthusiastic people working on futuristic research. Being able to take advantage of innovative findings and observations as well as giving advice based on my own experience from a long and extensive career are both very rewarding and I look forward with anticipation to the move in October," Professor Arvid Carlsson commented.
