New major stakeholder to boost Denator
SGP Group invested 7 million kronor in the company´s recently concluded equity issue. SGP thus owns 8 percent of the company, making it one of the largest single stakeholders. “We hope now to be able to boost sales," says Charlotte Emlind at Denator.
T-bolaget, which holds 23 percent of the shares, is the largest single stakeholder in Denator. The next-largest owners are Wikow Ventures, Servisen Holding and, through the recent equity issue, SGP, each with eight percent of the Göteborg-based company. The equity issue´s 15 million kronor will among other things help finance product development for new disposable products for the company´s technical platform. “We are currently developing disposable articles for new application areas," reveals Charlotte Emlind, business development director at Denator. Some of the new capital will also be directed to the Eurostars-financed project on blood sample handling. “We also want to use the funds to boost sales. The idea is that this financial injection should be sufficient and that we should then be able to make a living from our own sales. We have not planned for any additional equity issue," says Charlotte Emlind. If business does not pan out as planned, the company expects that the 15 million kronor will last for about one year.
