Elections to the Swedish Research Council
The University of Gothenburg has two new representatives; Lena Carlsson is a new member of the Swedish Research Council board, while Peter Lönnroth is a new member of the Scientific Council for Medicine and Health.
The research fraternity has now elected members to the Swedish Research Council board, along with Scientific Council board members for the research finance function.
The electors voted in 18 new Scientific Council board members in the fields of Medicine & Health and Technology & the Natural Sciences, and six people onto the board. All told, a total of 33 researcher-elected members to the Research Council board will be added to the Swedish Research Council between 2010 and 2012.
