Why is Danish life science industry so successful and what is happening with Swedish and Göteborg based industry and which global trends can be seen?
GöteborgBIO and VINNOVA invites you to a seminar on global trends within life science and which conclusions can be drawn by Swedish national and regional players as a result thereof. The seminar will address trends regarding industry, research and policy making with special emphasis on Denmark and Sweden.
Anna Sandström, VINNOVA and Stina Gestrelius, Medicon Valley Alliance will present results from an international study performed by VINNOVA commissioned by the Swedish government. The study focuses on the competitiveness of Swedish innovation systems in areas such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical technology in an international perspective. The seminar will also address position and possibilities for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, as well as a round table discussion with representatives from academia, industry and policy making.
