Welcome to this seminar aimed at informing Life Science SMEs about EU funding programmes, how to succeed in the application process and how to ensure financing for your projects. EU funding programmes offer many financing opportunities for SMEs, as well as business and development opportunities. Each programme has different objectives and own rules for application and participation. To be competitive, you need to understand the requirements and procedures of each EU programme. At this seminar, you will learn how to find the most appropriate EU programme for your enterprise and how to apply. Representatives from the Swedish Institute for Food and Biotechnology, SwedenBIO SME EU Support Office, Enterprise Europe Network and VINNOVA will present the application requirements and procedures of FP7, Eurostars and Eureka.
The European Union (EU) supports financing for small or medium-sized enterprises to help their business start up or develop. The Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7) is the European Union´s chief instrument for funding research over the period 2007 to 2013. FP7 is a source of funding as well as a way to participate in Europe-wide research projects. The alternative Programme Eurostars provides further grants for within the European research initiative Eureka.
The seminar will be held in Swedish.
