Welcome to thrill your senses, extend your knowledge and get updated within the biomaterials research area!

During the day, there will be many interesting aspects related to bone replacement materials.

- The past, present and future for calcium phosphate based bioceramic will be presented.

- Different aspects of the use of carbohydrates in biomedical research will be discussed, and processing of carbohydrate-based devices (e.g. scaffolds) for the purposes of tissue engineering will be presented.

- Can we grow our own spare-parts, or shall we use technology for in vitro meat production?

- Various novel technology strategies are also on the agenda!

The symposium is organized by Biomaterials Research Centre in cooperation with GöteborgBIO, and will be held in English.
